|
This study is a qualitative study to find out what participants experienced from the course of demonstrating the sociodrama program in Metaverse by use of Focus Group Interview. The research question was ‘what did participants experience from demonstrating a metaverse sociodrama?’ Subjects were six psychodramatists, who had five intensive meetings online inside metaverse and on Zoom from December 2021 till January 2022, and after demonstration, they participated in focus group interview sessions. The result of the study derived 10 themes and 7 thematic clusters such as ‘feeling fear and refusal about something new to try’, ‘joy of play inside metaverse space’, ‘challenging to do a metaverse sociodrama’, ‘concerns about metaverse sociodrama’, ‘expansion of encounters’, ‘feeling of delight and achievement’, ‘new ideas from experiences.’ The study helped to see the possibility of doing sociodrama in metaverse, and see the need to continue to develop programs suitable to age, subject, and social issues.
